Lady Lions fall 4-1 to Bethel in season finale

HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lady Lions soccer team (2-14, 0-11 MSC) closed out its regular season on Tuesday with a 4-1 loss to Bethel (6-9, 4-7 MSC)

The Lady Lions were the first on the board when Jalen Johnson pulled a shot from around 35 yards out to beat the Bethel keeper in the ninth minute of action.

The Wildcats were able to answer about 13 minutes later to tie the game, followed by a second goal just one minute later to make it 2-1.

Bethel added one more goal just before halftime to make it 3-1 at the break, and just over seven minutes into the final period, they scored their fourth goal to make it 4-1.

Brooke Latham recorded 10 saves in the contest.
