HENDERSON, Tenn. – The Lady Lions soccer team (3-8, 1-8 MSC) lost 4-0 to Shawnee State (8-5, 5-4 MSC) on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears scored in the 16th minute, but the Lady Lions had their chances in the first half to get on the scoreboard with seven total shots, four of them being on frame.

The game went to halftime with Shawnee State leading 1-0, but they turned things up in the second half, scoring three goals on nine shots in the period.

Brooke Latham finished the contest with seven saves. Jessica Musselman had three shots on goal.

The Lady Lions will be back in action on Tuesday when they host the University of Pikeville. Game time is set for 5 p.m., and the graduating seniors will be honored in between contests.
