Box Score Josh Sears was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week, the league announced Monday, after four strong games at the plate last week.
The two-time All-American hit .667 in four games, including five home runs, and brought in 14 total runs.
Against Lindsey Wilson last Monday, he went 3-for-4 with two home runs and six RBI's, and his three-run home run in game two against Cumberland on Saturday ended up being the game winner. This is his second weekly award of the season.
The Lions will play a single home contest against No. 1 Tennessee Wesleyan today at 3 p.m., and they will close out their regular season on Friday and Saturday with a three-game series at Martin Methodist.
