HENDERSON – The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions hosted the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College in Mid-South Conference action Tuesday night. FHU came out on the losing end of a 3-0 final.

The Lady Lions (2-9-0, 0-2-0 MSC) were in an uphill battle when Lindsey Wilson sank a goal at 5:37 when Ashiat Naluggwa found a hole behind FHU keeper
Brooke Latham. The Blue Raiders would then take a 2-0 lead after Alina Siegel connected on a penalty kick at 12:21.
Lindsey Wilson (2-6-0, 1-0-0 MSC) would continue to pepper shots at Latham and the FHU net in the second half, firing 11 shots, six of which were on target. Their final shot at 83:25 was a big one as Naluggwa connected for her second to tally the final score 3-0.

FHU managed seven shots in the contest, led two each from
Zoe Stom and
Abby Schwarz. Latham had seven saves in the losing effort.
