HENDERSON — The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions fell in their second home match to the Faulkner (Ala.) University Eagles 3-0.

Within the first minute, FHU's (0-5-0) Abby Schwarz opened up with a shot on goal, the first of her team-high two shots on target.

From there, possession shifted to the Faulkner (2-1-1) half of the pitch until the Eagles put a shot into the net at 9:04. It was an offensive firestorm by the visitors, who sent 15 shots toward Brooke Latham in the first half, with the senior tallying five saves. The Eagles would tack on a second goal at 30:38 to take a 2-0 halftime lead.

The Lady Lions were offensively led by Zoe Stom's four shots, followed by Bailey Morris's three.
