HENDERSON — Freed-Hardeman University's men's tennis program lined up for their first Mid-South Conference match Thursday afternoon. Facing the No. 15 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College Blue Raiders, FHU fell 7-0.

On the No. 1 doubles court, Merlin Bolema and Nolan Laduree were tasked with the No. 9/3 duo of Miquel Perez and Jan Silhavy where the Lions (3-4, 0-1 MSC) fell 6-4. Theo Devals and Brayden Smith dropped their court two match 6-0 before Brayden Martin and Braden Young lost 6-3.

Merlin Bolema took LWC's (3-2, 1-0 MSC) No. 7/3 Jan Silhavy to a tiebreak in the first set, but ultimately lost 7-6 (7-0), 6-1. Nolan Laduree was bested 6-0, 6-1 while Theo Devals fell 6-4, 6-3. Braden Young lost his No. 4 court match 6-1, 6-0 before Brayden Martin was topped 6-1, 6-2. Brayden Smith wrapped up FHU's day with a 6-0, 6-0 loss.
