KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A week after leading his Freed-Hardeman Universiy Lions to the Fab Four of the NAIA Men's Basketball National Championship,
Peyton Law was rewarded by being named as a first-team All-American.
Law led the Lion offense by averaging 16.2 points per game with an astounding 60.7% field goal percentage. Not only was he a threat to score, Law was nearly unstoppable defensively, leading the Mid-South Conference by more than 50 boards with 202 defensive rebounds. He also led the lead with 51 blocks and led the Lions with 60 steals. His 51 blocks put him in a tie for the ninth-most blocks in a single season while his career total of 104 stuffs gives him a share of seventh place on the all-time block leaderboard.
Also from the Mid-South Conference were Anthony Johnson (Cumberlands, first team) and Tae Dozier (Georgetown, third team).Â
