HENDERSON — Finally returning home the Freed-Hardeman University Lions grabbed their first Mid-South Conference win of the season by besting the Campbellsville University Tigers 6-1.

Maxime Guyon won an instant classic on the No. 2 singles court 4-6, 7-2(7), 1-0(9) over his Campbellsville (0-13, 0-2 MSC) opponent while
Pablo Poleo won his match 7-6(3), 6-1. The sting of
Merlin Bolema's 6-1, 6-3 defeated was lessened by
Nolan Laduree and
Carlos Garcia both taking home victories with the former winning 6-0, 6-3 and the latter 6-3, 6-0. The final match of the day was a victory by retirement for
Quentin Ferron.
