Five Things to Know:
1. Winless in the Conference
Both teams are coming into the contest looking for the first conference win of the season, with both teams holding an 0-3 conference record for the season.,
2. Rescheduled
The teams will have one less day of preparation than originally planned, with the game being pushed up a day with heavy rain on the radar for much of Saturday.
3. One-Sided Series
The Lady Lions are 0-10 against the Tigers in their history, with last season’s match falling 2-1 in favor of the Tigers.
4. Rebound
The Lady Lions are coming off of a 3-1 loss to Harris-Stowe State University. Despite the loss, some bright spots they are looking to capitalize on are a goal from Alexia Lorenzo-Pereira and Maria Paz Mora Silva saving 6 of 7 shots on goal.
5. Scoreless in Conference
Both teams have yet to score a goal in conference play, despite both teams playing 3 games so far. The Lady Lions have scored in five contests this season, and the Tigers have scored in 8 games this season, so both teams have the ability to score and will look to edge out the opponent tomorrow to break the streak.
