TEXARKANA, Texas —  Falling in all three doubles matches, the Freed-Hardeman University Lions were defeated by the (RV) Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles, 6-1.

The pairing of Daniel Bolivar and Benjamin Ganem dropped the No. 1 doubles match 6-0 while Carlos Garcia and Martin Brena fell 6-1 on the No. 2 court. Tom Marie and Daan van Miltenburg came up short on the No. 3 court 6-4 as the Lions (0-3) were unable to secure the doubles point.

van Miltenburg picked up the lone point over the Eagles (6-1)  at No. 6 singles, winning the first set before battling back in the match tiebreak, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0(7).

On the No. 1 singles court, Ganem battled but fell in straight sets 7-5, 7-5. Marie dropped his match 6-2, 6-3 on the No. 2 court while Dev Prakash was defeated 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3. Bolivar fell 6-1, 6-3 on the No. 4 court and Garcia came up short 6-4, 6-0 at No. 5.
