The Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions kicked off conference play on the road against the #13-ranked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.).

The Blue Raiders got on the board early with a goal from Ona Monserrat Baca in the ninth minute of the game. For most of the second half, the Lady Lions were able to keep the opponent at bay, with Layla Olson saving 7 shots. However, Paolo Guisti was able to add a goal in the 34th minute, to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Lindsey Wilson didn't waste much time in the second half with Ashiat Naluggwa scoring in the 48th and 49th minute to extend the lead. Montserrat Baca added her second goal of the evening in the 60th minute, before Julia Marcolongo and Jillian Truax ended the game with back-to-back goals in the 74th and 75th minute.

Despite the shut-out, the Lady Lions were able to improve their on-goal percentage with four of their six shots were on-goal for the evening.

The Lady Lions will look to bounce back at home against Williams Baptist this Thursday at 5pm.
