BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lions soccer team (3-3, 0-1 AMC) fell 3-0 to Lyon College (5-3, 1-0 AMC) on Monday, putting an end to its win streak at three games.

It was a 0-0 stalemate for the majority of the first half before the Scots struck in the 44th minute to take a 1-0 lead into halftime.

It didn't take long for Lyon to double their score when they netted their second goal in the 46th minute. One more goal in the 61st minute put the Lions away.

Calum Langdale held strong in the goal despite the loss, recording six saves in the match.

The Lions continue their road trip when they take on Park University on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m.
