Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. – The No. 25 Lions (18-18, 11-5 MSC) knocked off Lindsey Wilson (17-18, 11-10 MSC) 18-6 in eight innings in the final game of the three-game series.
The Lions were led offensively by Josh Sears, who drove in six of the 18 runs in the win, tying a single-game career high in RBI's. He had two home runs – a two-run shot in the second inning and a three-run bomb in the eighth – to bring his season total to 13.
Dylan Lott went 3-for-3 in the win with two RBI's and scored four runs. Zach Sanders, Riley Perks and Brady Harris joined him with two RBI's each.
Landon Sewell earned the win after going three and two-thirds innings of relief.
The Lions will be back in action on Friday when they start a three-game home series against Cumberland University. The single game on Friday is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start, with a doubleheader on Saturday scheduled for 1 p.m.
