HENDERSON,TENN- The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions JV falls to the Jackson State Green jays by a score of 81-64. The consistent press by the Green jays consistently hurt the Lady Lions JV.
After the Lady Lions were up 19-18 after the first quarter, the Lady Lions were never able to lead again in the ballgame.
Ella Eaker lead the scoring for the Lady Lions. After starting 7-7 on free throw attempts, Eaker was able to provide some help off the bench for the Lady Lions.
Mia Hobbs added 14 points for the Lady Lions, while scoring 9 in the fourth quarter.
Lillie Whitehead added 9 points.
Abbie Lampley and
Cece Burnette added 7 a piece as well.
The Lady Lions JV will be back in action on Tuesday, November 14, against Itawamba CC.
