Freed-Hardeman (4-10-0, 0-4-0 MSC) played a strong first part of the match with the Patriots not scoring their first goal until 29:55. The floodgates opened with UC netting three goals across nine minutes to take a 4-0 halftime lead.
Ava Pierce made six save in a first half where she faced 17 shots.
In the second frame, the Patriots (15-0-0, 5-0-0 MSC) tacked on two more goals to complete the shutout 6-0.
