HENDERSON — The Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lion golf team led from the first hole to the last hole in the 2025 Subway FHU Fall Invitational. After shooting 319 (+31) in the first round, they improved to 314 (+26) in the second to combine for 633 (+57) to win their host tournament.
Hannah Ruth Walton was at the top of the leaderboard after the first 18 with a 74 (+2) where she carded a pair of par-4 birdies on the second and 18th holes. In the second round her 12 pars helped her score 80 (+8) to tie for second place with 154 (+10).
Sharing her teammate's number two ranking was
Zoe Phillips. The freshman had a par on the par-5 first hole in the first round to score 79 (+7) before shaving off five strokes with two front nine birdies to finish the first half one under par. Finishing the round with 75 (+3) she combined to score 154 (+10)
Aaricia Noel-Traissac had two birdies in each round: all on par-3 holes. In the first round she scored 81 (+9) before improving to 78 (+6) in the second round to aggregate 159 (+15) to share in seventh place.
Ansley Pratt dropped back-to-back birdies on the fourth and fifth holes in the first round to help her score 88 (+16) before carding 81 (+9) on the second day with eight pars. With a combined score of 169 (+25) she finished in 13th place.
Scoring the same 85 (+13) in both rounds,
Maggie Crouch carded a birdie on the par-5 ninth hole in the first round before dropping three in the second round. A two-round total of 170 (+26) saw her finish in 13th place.
Competing as an individual,
Jadyn Thompson's back-to-back birdies in the second round helped her to total 167 (+23) across both rounds to place 12th.
