BROOMFIELD, Colo. — With the 2025-26 season concluded, Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lion golf coach
Randall Rhodes has added a player with state championship experience in the form of Peyton Mraz.
Mraz led the Holy Family High School Tigers to the top of the leaderboard for the Colorado High School Activites Association 4A team championship while finishing in third place as an individual with a two-round total of 155 (+11). For her efforts during her prep career, including earning the low-round medal during the 2025 regional tournament, she was named as the Daily Camera's Golfer of the Year. At the 2025 Denver City Amateur, she finished in first place in First Flight with a 78 in the first round before following that up with a 75.
The new Lady Lion said, "I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and growing with them in my academic and athletic career! I am excited to play high level golf and embrace the new challenges that it will bring."
"We're excited that Peyton will be joining our program," said Coach Rhodes. "She brings a wealth of strengths, including success on and off the golf course, and has demonstrated the ability to compete at a high level."
