HENDERSON — Wrapping up a four-game weekend against Trinity Christian (Ill.) College, the Freed-Hardeman University Lions fell in the first game 7-3 before bouncing back for an 11-0 victory in seven innings.

Despite striking for the first run of the game, the Lions (13-9) fell behind late due to a four-run sixth inning by the visitors.
Trailing the Trolls (4-3) late,
Trace Anderson knocked a two-run home run to cut into the Trinity Christian lead, but the lead was too much to overcome in the 7-3 loss.
Cade Fuller had two of FHU's five hits.
Evan Koob got the start where he struck out four in 3 1/3 innings of work.
Cole Lannom (1-3) was charged with the loss as the second of four relievers.

Freed-Hardeman (14-9) exorcised some hitting woes, tallying 14 base knocks in an 11-0 run-rule victory in the second game. FHU scored in five of their six innings.
Trinity Christian (4-4) was held to just three hits in the getaway game, striking out six times.
The Lion order was dominant with
Trace Anderson going 3-3 while
Hunter McLemore and
Hunter Ryan both went 3-4.
Cannon Daversa connected for two base hits in the win. McLemore was the top run producer by tallying four RBI.
Hunter Bennett (4-0) earned the win after striking out three Trolls while surrendering just one hit.
