CHICKASHA, Okla. — Holding the third seed in the Chickasha Regional of the 2025 NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Rounds, the Laday Lions of Freed-Hardeman University fell to the second-seeded Grand View (Iowa) University Vikings 8-0 in five innings.
Chloe Carter started the Lady Lions' (20-16) day promisingly enough with a leadoff single. The base running was short-lived as FHU's next 14 batters were retired in order.
