The track and field teams concluded their season this past weekend in Williamsburg, KY, at the 2025 Mid-South Outdoor Championship.
For the men's team, Blake Brown secured a top-five finish in the 800m by running a time of 1:57. Daniel Puckett got two top-10 finishes in the season finale. He finished in ninth place in the 1500m race, and then eighth place in the 5,000m race. Right behind Puckett in the 5K was Barrett Poe, who finished in 11th place, and Bo Scott, who finished in 12th. Poe also finished fifth place in the 3,000m steeplechase, finishing in just over 10 minutes.
The women's team had some very strong showings and top finishes. Megan Lampley and Eliza Poe were both able to finish the track season with a PR. Lampley finished in sixth place in the 800m with a time of 2:27, a one-second PR. Poe set a 13-second PR in the 1500m, finishing in 5:06. Mary Pearce was able to finish the 5,000m in 19:14, good enough for a fourth-place finish.
