WALESKA, Ga. — Three Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions finished within the top 10 by the completion of the 2025 Eagles Open. As a team, FHU's 945 (+93) let them comfortably finish in second place after shooting their best round of the tournament with a 309 (+25) on the par-71 final 18.
Hannah Ruth Walton completed the week with a 74 (+3) final round where she tallied birdies on the par-4 11th and 15th holes. Combining all three rounds her 228 (+15) allowed her to finish in fifth place.
Trailing just behind in seventh place was
Zoe Phillips' three-round total of 231 (+18). In her final round of 80 (+9), she carded nine pars.
As if Walton's 10-stroke turnaround between rounds one and two were not enough,
Ansley Pratt turned in a 74 (+3) in the final round to cut 11 strokes off of her second round total. To end her round, a birdie on the par-4 third hole sparked 11 consecutive pars. An aggregate 242 (+29) saw her land in a tie for ninth place.
Aaricia Noel-Traissac and
Jadyn Thompson both scored 81 (+10) in the final round. Noel-Traissac's 244 (+31) after all three rounds had her finish in a tie for 22nd place while Thompson's combined 263 (+50) was good enough for 22nd place.
