EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A midweek road trip did not go the way of the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions as their trip to Oakland City (Ind.) University ended with a 10-0 loss to the Mighty Oaks.
FHU (0-4-1) had their best chance for a goal at the 36th minute when
Ellie Wood's shot was kept out by the OCU keeper. The Lady Lions played a strong defensive first half where the Mighty Oaks registered 10 shots with starting keeper
Ava Pierce knocking out three saves.
The Mighty Oaks (2-1-1) kept their offense moving in the second frame by testing
Avery Branch with 14 shouts. The freshman keeper collected four saves in the second half.
