ST. SIMMONS ISLAND, Ga. — After the first 18 holes the Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lion golf team landed in fourth place out of nine teams with a team total of 327 (+39) with one round to go.
Opening her tournament on the par-4 sixth hole
Hannah Ruth Walton got off to a good start with a birdie. Should would finish under par on the par-4 11th hole before carding a birdie on the par-3 third to finish at 78 (+6) to tie for seventh place.
Just one stroke away was
Zoe Phillips who had a birdie on the par-4 first hole while having nine pars. Finishing with 79 (+7) Phillips ended with a share of 10th place.
Ansley Pratt wrote down birdies one two par-3 holes: the fourth and the 15h while also going one under on the first hole. Her 83 (+11) landed her in a tie for 18th place.
Jadyn Thompson nabbed five pars to end in a tie for 32nd place with 87 (+15) while
Aaricia Noel-Traissac's 88 (+16) was highlighted by eight pars to place 34th.
