PULASKI, Tenn. — The (RV) Freed-Hardeman Lions sent four pitchers to the mound against the Tennessee Southern Firehawks Tuesday afternoon. Those hurlers combined for a single hit to help the Lions to victory, 8-4.
The Freed-Hardeman (17-6) bats were loaded up in the contest, smacking three home runs by three different players.
Drake Blackwood and
Trace Anderson each had two run-blasts while
Chase Eakes lifted a solo shot.
UT Southern (13-13) took advantage of a few FHU errors and six walks, but FHU's firepower overwhelmed in the victory.
Colton Bryant (3-1) got the prearranged bullpen victory where he struck out five batters. Two relievers pitched four innings of hitless work before giving way to
Hunter Gressel (1) to get the save.
