WALESKA, Ga. — Concluding a four-game road trip in Georgia, the (RV) Freed-Hardeman University Lions fell victim to a four-run fourth inning by the Reinhardt (Ga.) University Eagles to fall, 6-4.
Freed-Hardeman (17-9) would strike first with a two-run first inning before Reinhardt answered right back with a two-run bottom half of the inning.
Though the Lions took a lead in the top of the fifth, Reinhardt (10-19) used a pair of two-run singles to take a 6-4 lead to the final out.
Trace Anderson and
Hunter Ryan each went 3-for-5 with Ryan driving in a team-high two runs.
Colton Bryant had the start where he hurled five innings and struck out five.
Clay Strope (0-1) was charged with the loss after his one inning of action.
