Box Score 2 HENDERSON — The (RV) Freed-Hardeman University Lions got the series win over the visiting Campbellsville Tigers with a game one victory, 8-4. They followed that up with a rollercoaster of a finale to complete the sweep with an 11-10 win.

The Lions (19-10, 4-1 MSC) were able to tally 11 hits in the first game of the day, plating eight runs. They would send runs across in six of the seven innings played of the victory.
Campbellsville (17-12, 4-4 MSC) mounted a sixth-inning comeback bid with a three-run homer, but the Lions answered with two runs to put the Tigers away.
Of FHU's 11 hits,
Hunter Ryan led the way with a 3-for-4 day at the dish.
Brennen Gibson,
Brooks Jones, and Bennan Petersen each connected for two base knocks.
Hunter McLemore (3-2) saved FHU's bullpen with a complete game where he struck out six Tigers without allowing a walk.

A rollercoaster finale saw the Lions (20-10, 5-1 MSC) come back from a 6-2 deficit in the second inning. The Lions would slowly chip away, putting up crooked numbers in four innings to head to the eighth tied up at 8-8.
The Tigers (17-12, 4-4) answered right back by taking a one-run lead in before hero
Colin Milligan hit his second homer of the day to give FHU a lead they cling to for the victory.
Freed-Hardeman tallied 12 base hits in the win, led by
Trace Anderson and
Colin Milligan each having four hits.
Brooks Jones and
JJ Pruneau each had two hits while Milligan led the run production with four RBI.
Jackson Hines had the start before giving way to
Grayson Waller, who hurled five innings of scoreless work.
Joe Romines (1-1) picked up his first win of the season after two late innings of action.

Brennen Gibson was hit by a pitch before swiping second himself to put two runners in scoring position.
Hunter Ryan perfectly placed a single to center to score both and tie the game.
