Box Score 2 HENDERSON, Tenn. - Three Freed-Hardeman University
Lady Lions were named to the All-Region XI Team on the first day of the
regional tournament in Henderson.
Brittany Bradford,
Tarrah Tucker, and
Britney Caldwell were among the 18 players selected to the team.
Bradford, a junior catcher from Henderson, Tenn., led the Lady
Lions in hitting with a .420 average that included 66 hits. Tucker, a
junior pitcher/first baseman from Lyles, Tenn., set several
single-season records including ERA (1.19), wins (23), and strikeouts
(287). Caldwell, a sophomore pitcher/first baseman from Dickson, Tenn.,
led the team in both homeruns (6) and RBI (36) while hitting .361 in
the cleanup spot for Freed-Hardeman.
The Lady Lions finished the season with a record of 34-17.
