WALESKA, Ga. – The Lady Lions softball team (0-4) came up short in its final two games at the Reinhardt Invitational, falling 7-3 to Midway (2-4) in the first game and 8-0 to No. 13 Campbellsville (3-0) on Saturday.

Cassie Hayes and Catherine Crabb got the two RBI's in the contest against Midway. Crab went 3-for-3 at the plate and Caitlin Mitchell had a strong day as well, going 2-for-3.

Crabb and Morgan Crawford combined for five strikeouts in the seven innings from the circle. Emily Bradford recorded three strikeouts in the game against Campbellsville.

The Lady Lions will be back in action on Tuesday when they go on the road to face Martin Methodist in a double-header. Game one is set to start at 3 p.m.
