Lady Lions blow past Keiser in Gulf Shores

GULF SHORES, Ala. – The bats came alive on the final day of the Gulf Shores Invitational for the Lady Lions (2-7) when they took down Keiser University (8-3) 13-5 in five innings on Sunday morning.

Home runs by Annalise Jarnagin, Kennedy Harris and Sophie Dunavant highlighted the win. Harris added a triple to her stat-line in a 3-for-3 performance with two runs and five RBIs.

Dunavant scored three runs and brought in four in a 2-for-2 performance at the plate with a walk. Jarnagin went 2-for-3 in the blowout win.

Emily Bradford earned the win in the contest after throwing three and two-thirds innings with a strikeout. Morgan Crawford got the last two outs of the fourth inning and finished off the fifth inning in the win.

The Lady Lions will return back to Tennessee when they travel to Bethel on Tuesday for a double-header. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
