Freed-Hardeman (19-14) was able to end the regular season on a high note after Karli Quillin's leadoff walk turned into the first run of game two. Brooklyn Jimmerson made it a two-run game with solo homer, but the Mustangs managed to knot the game with a pair of runs in the second.

A brief weather delay gave FHU just enough rest to put up five runs over Central Baptist (27-23) in the third inning. Myleah Hardy led off with a solo homer of her own before Brinley Cousar tallied a single. FHU drew three walks in the half-inning before Lana Rowland singled home two runs to put FHU on top for good.

The Lady Lions had 11 hits in the second game with Myleah Hardy, Brooklyn Jimmerson, and Briley Wigginton each connecting for two.

Anna Rogers (3-3) got the victory by tossing five innings where she struck out four. Katy Gartrell got two innings of hitless work in relief.
