BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Opening the 2025 Mid-South Conference Championship, the Freed-Hardeman University Lions had a great first round, scoring 307 (+19) before falling behind in the second 18 with a 321 (+33) for a two-round total of 628 (+52) after the first day.
In the first round the Lions were fantastic on the first nine by combining for 11 birdies across all five players.
Brady Webb finished the first round by shooting 74 (+2) after sinking birdies on all three par lengths: the par-3 eighth, par-4 first, and par-5 second. In the second round he shot 77 (+5) with a birdie on the par-5 14th hole to combine for 151 (+7) and finish with a share of 17th place.
Ben Sebilian got started on the right foot by collecting a birdie on his first hole: the par-5 fifth. He finished his round with a birdie on the par-4 fourth hole to score 75 (+3) in the first round. The second round was less kind with Sebilian earning par on seven holes to score 83 (+11) and combine for 158 (+14) to end the day in a tie for 30th place.
Wil Spillers had a set of par-4 birdies on the fourth and eighth holes while also shooting one under on the par-5 fifth to finish the first round at 78 (+6). In the second time through he repeated his birdie on the fifth hole while carding another on the par-5 14th to score 81 (+9). Finishing in 32nd place, he had an aggregate score of 159 (+15).
Cameron Long finished in 33rd with a two-round 161 (+17) after finishing the first round with birdies on the second and seventh holes.Â
Landon Mobley carded birdies on the fourth and 12th holes and the 14th hole in the first round to score 81 (+9) before shooting 82 (+10) in the second round to finish in 34th place with 163 (+19).
