LEBANON, Tenn. — Opening the 2026 Mid-South Conference slate, the (RV) Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions visited the (RV) Cumberland University Phoenix on Saturday where they fell 3-1.
A low scoring game featured the Lady Lions (5-9, 0-1 MSC) tie the game in the top of the third inning with a
LuLu White RBI single.
Unfortunately for FHU, Cumberland (6-9, 1-0 MSC) answered with a run in the bottom of the third and the bottom of the sixth.

Hannah Jones (3-2) was charged with the loss despite striking out four Phoenix.
