PARAGOULD, Ark. — Myleah Hardy launched her career's 31st and 32 big flies to tie FHU's career record to open a set of midweek matchups. The (RV) Freed-Hardeman University Lady Lions defeated the Crowley's Ridge (Ark.) College Lady Pioneers in both games of a doubleheader. FHU won the first game, 8-3, before taking game two, 10-1, in eight innings.

Both the Lady Lions (14-14) and the Lady Pioneers were held scoreless across the first three innings of action before
Christa Warren opened the scoring with an RBI single.
Crowley's Ridge (1-30) tied the game with a pair of one-run frames, but three-run innings in both the sixth and seventh innings, including two-run singles from
Abbi Storey and Warren, gave FHU the victory.
Christa Warren was a perfect 4-for-4 from the dish while driving in a team-high three runs.
Lana Rowland tallied three base hits in the win, while
Abbi Storey's two base hits drove in two runs.
Katy Gartrell (5-5) had her second double-digit strikeout performance of the season with 11 punchouts in a complete-game victory.

The Freed-Hardeman (15-14) bats were alive in the second game, with FHU connecting for 15 base knocks while plating 10 runs.
Myleah Hardy and
Alivia Eggleston had three-run homers in the first and second innings to jump out to a big lead.
Though Crowley's Ridge (1-31) added a run in the bottom of the first, another three-run inning from FHU in the sixth pushed the Lady Lions to the needed amount to enforce the run rule.
Karli Quillin reached base with hits all four times she came to the plate, while
Myleah Hardy's two base hits were homers to drive in four runs. Hardy's season total now sits at 12, one shy of the program's single-season record.
Lynnlee Brown,

Alivia Eggleston each added two hits with Eggleston also driving in four runs.
Anna Rogers (2-1) had the complete-game victory, fanning seven Lady Pioneers while allowing just one run.
