HENDERSON — Head coach Todd Humphry has added to his coaching staff with the addition of Rob Parson as his assistant coach.

Parson began coaching in 2010 as a volunteer assistant boys basketball coach at Westview High School. Continuing his coaching career, Parson returned to his alma mater of Hardin County High School where he was the assistant coach for both boys and girls basketball programs from 2015-2018.

He has added prep coaching stops at Dyer County High School and Bolivar Central High School before returning to Hardin County where he added assisting baseball to his resume.

Parson has been an instructor in softball, baseball, and basketball at Elite Sports and Fitness. 

"Excited to have Coach Rob aboard," said Coach Humphry. "His contacts in travel ball and schools across the Midsouth has already paid dividends and his will to do extra only makes our program stronger."

Expected to hit the recruiting trail hard, Parson works with NHR Prospects as a scout for both baseball and softball.

I'd like to thank Coach Humphry for this amazing opportunity and believing in me to help build on the program's success. The hard work has been rewarding so far, and I'm excited to see what we can achieve together this spring."

Parson graduated from UT Martin in 2014. He is married to FHU head women's soccer coach Lindsay Parson. They both are members of the Henderson Church of Christ.
