Bolema, Guyon, Pearce earn awards

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The Mid-South Conference announced their 2025 postseason awards and three Freed-Hardeman University student-athletes received awards. Merlin Bolema was chosen to the league's second All-Conference team while Maxime Guyon and Hannah Pearce were selected as Champions of Character.

Bolema was the Lions' No. 1 singles player throughout the FHU duals season. The senior went 6-9 as a singles competitor while teaming up with Guyon as the top FHU doubles team going 3-3.

Pearce joins Guyon on the Champions of Character team. According to the league, "The MSC recognizes a Champions of Character Team for each championship sport. The student-athletes that are honored on the Champions of Character Team were nominated by their coaches based on their leadership on campus and in the community while demonstrating the five core character values of the NAIA."
