SNEAD, Ala. — Freed-Hardeman University men's golf has added a proven winner with the signing of Jayce Hutchens.
A transfer from Calhoun (Ala.) Community College, Hutchens helped lead the Warhawks to three tournament wins with six top-three finishes. Individually, Hutchens' 72.6 average led him to five top-10 finishes during the 2025-26 campaign. Ending seven rounds under par, he was selected to the Alabama Community College Conference All-Conference team.
""I'm excited to join the Freed-Hardeman golf family and continue competing at a high level while growing as a golfer, a person, and most importantly, in my faith," said Hutchens. "The people, culture, and values at Freed-Hardeman made it stand out to me, and I'm looking forward to getting on campus, building relationships, and getting to work."
